ARDAKAN INDUSTRIAL CERAMICS COMPANY (AIC) was set up in 1996 and is the sole specialized manufacturer of high quality High Alumina ceramics in Iran . Products are ideal for high strength applications and include ceramic balls & Liners as well as special ceramic shapes like inert balls and pellets produced for application as catalyst support , gas/liquid flow control, and mechanical/thermal supports.
Among the ceramic materials Alumina (Al2O3) is the hardest for resistance to wear and abrasion. Alumina ceramics are manufactured by isostatic pressing and feature very high mechanical strength excellent resistance to abrasion, high density and thermal conductivity, high resistance to chemical and corrosion attack at room and elevated temperatures . AIC presently produces 7000 tons alumina ceramics .
The ceramic balls and liners are homogeneous products that are totally free from internal flaws and specially developed for fast clean and economic milling of any material. Typical end users include ceramic, white cement ,mines chemical and paint industries The inert ball and pellet catalyst bed supports are resistant to high thermal shock and free from metal and non – metal impurities with uniform shape.typical end users are chemical , petro-chemical,oil and gas industries.
